When the Stompers head to JASA, this Saturday, 1st place positioning will be on the line.

Saturday, November 24, 2018, at Red Morton Park (939 Valota Rd. Redwood City, CA), 5 pm kickoff.

JASA sits in 1st place with 15 points after 7 games (4W-3D-0L).  The Redwood City team has also clinched a UPSL Wild West (South) Division playoff spot.

The Stompers currently sit in 2nd place in the division after 5 games (2W-2D-1L) with 8 points.  Oakland has 2 games in hand on the front runners to make up points.  This head to head matchup could possibly be the swing match to determine who will take home the top spot.

The Oakland Stompers vs. JASA is a make up game pushed back due to 2019 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Competitions on November 17, 2018.  JASA dropped a tight one to Internationa Portland Select in Oregon by a score of 3-2.  The Stompers vs. Academica match was postponed due to the air quality issues from the wild fires in northern California.  Stompers vs. Academica reschedule information, TBD.

Oakland will also have two make up games vs. San Ramon Dynamos FC.  One game rescheduled from earlier in the season and another from November 10, postponed because of the wild fires.

If the Stompers are able to run the table they would end up with the top slot in the division and a host seed in the first round of playoffs.  Western Nevada Coyotes have secured the top playoff seed overall in the Wild West (North) Division.  A Stompers loss or tie to JASA would clinch the division for the Redwood City team and leave the Stompers fighting for their playoff lives.  Three games left and still a lot to play for!
